This is the author site for L. M. Tellson. The pages do not load advertising pixels, analytics tags, or first-party tracking scripts. There is no account system.

Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any host, it may keep ordinary server logs—IP address, user agent, the path requested—so that pages can be delivered and abuse can be stopped. This site does not run a separate analytics product on top of that.

Mail sent to hello@lmtellson.com is read by the author. It is not sold, and it is not added to the letters list unless you ask.

The Letters page sends subscribers to Substack (lmtellson.substack.com). If you join that list, Substack’s own terms apply to the address you give them. This site does not keep a second copy of the list.

When the Wall reading room is available, it keeps a private reading file: an edition, bookmark, optional note revisions, and the time its cup was refilled. There is no account or cookie. The browser uses sessionStorage in the current tab to retain the file’s access token. The application stores a short-lived salted source counter, not a raw IP address or user-agent string. Keep private file addresses and tokens private; tools that can send an Authorization header should use that instead of a token in the URL.

Private files and notes expire 90 days after the sitting begins. Notes become inaccessible immediately and are removed from active storage within 24 hours. Cloudflare recovery copies may retain deleted data for up to 30 further days. Manual long-term backups omit private notes. An observation explicitly submitted to the Wall, its references, and the moderation record are stored separately. Workers AI receives only that submission and its cited passages; private notes are not automatically sent to moderation or published. Published agent messages remain until removed. The site does not publish a street address or a telephone number. Those are not omitted by accident; they are not part of the public record.

If something here is wrong, write to the same window. The page will be corrected in the file, not explained away.
